Why study International Tourism Management?

This course is a natural pathway for tourism, business and management graduates, but it is open to all who have completed an undergraduate degree or people with significant industry experience.

You will be guided by an experienced academic team through current thinking on international tourism management, planning and development, that range from corporate governance to sustainability, international marketing to tourism planning in an international context. Optional modules include an industry work placement in London and an opportunity to carry out international fieldwork in Cuba.

The degree will equip you with a wide range of analytical, research and communication skills as you work with fellow students and undertake your own original research. You will develop senior management and leadership potential for the tourism and travel industry, underpinned by ethical and responsible business practices. The course will support you in furthering your management career in an international context.

Related undergraduate study includes Tourism, Business Management or Management Studies, Hospitality, Geography or undergraduate programmes with significant business management content.

Applicants with appropriate professional experience in the travel, tourism and hospitality sectors (in the UK or an international context), combined with evidence of a willingness and capacity to study at Master’s level, will also be considered.
International requirements
