Our MSc Social Care, Health and Wellbeing degree will give you an advanced awareness and understanding of the health and social care sector and the challenges that it faces. This degree will give you a good foundation, allowing you to work in a wide range of statutory, voluntary and independent settings, including local authority teams, health promotion projects, refugee and asylum service hospitals, sheltered accommodation, hospices and day centres, and residential care units.

The MSc in Social Care, Health and Wellbeing is well recognised qualification that provides the opportunity to develop your knowledge for an existing role, improve your prospects, or make a career change. It can also be a first step towards an academic career.
This qualification can take you into many different fields – both in the UK and abroad – including multi-agency teams, health promotion projects, refugee and asylum services, hospitals, sheltered accommodation, hospices, day centres, and residential care units.
Graduates of this programme may also choose to progress to study at doctorate-level in health and social care, or a related field.
You are normally expected to have successfully completed an honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject and have appropriate work experience. You may be required to attend an interview and/or provide a portfolio of work.
Additional Criteria
If English is not your first language you will need to complete a Secure English Language Test at IELTS 6.0 or equivalent with no band less than 5.5.

You can only take a SELT with one of the following providers: IELTS SELT Consortium including UKVI Academic IELTS, LanguageCert, Pearson and PSI Services (UK) Ltd.
