Teaching and Learning

Throughout your year of study, you’ll be taught via three methods: lectures, workshops and seminars. The exact format will depend on the modules you choose to study, but you can expect a range of all three.

Assessments come in a mix of formats, also depending on your chosen options. These include essays, portfolios, exams, reports, group presentation and case studies.

Assessments play a big part in your degree – they are key indicators in measuring your own success, but in also letting your tutors know your progress. If your grades are not as expected, we’ll offer the correct support to ensure improvement.

We constantly monitor assessment results and feedback to make sure we are teaching you in the most effective way. We adapt our teaching and learning methods to suit our students, to offer you a high quality and exciting education.

Accreditations & Career Opportunities

Our course is accredited by both ACCA and CIMA – studying with us will grant exemptions from 9/14 ACCA and 9/13 CIMA modules.

We offer the maximum number of ACCA exemptions – you’ll struggle to find this across other universities. This means you’ll not only save time but money too. If you dream of becoming a Chartered or Management Accountant, this is one of the quickest ways to achieve your goal.

You can also benefit from free student membership to ACCA and CIMA, unlocking online communities, free resources and career support services.

At the end of your chosen course, you will be well equipped to work within banking and finance, accounting practice, business and tax consultancy.

Of course, other industries and roles are well suited to the skills and knowledge you will gain, and further study is a popular and recommended route for many.
