Course Overview

Our four-year LLB Law with Foundation Year programme will provide you with the professional competencies of functioning legal knowledge and applied skills as required for the solicitors qualifying examination to become a solicitor in England and Wales. It also satisfies the academic stage of training to become a barrister and allows you to proceed to the vocational state of training.

This course offers many flexible study options, meaning you can choose which style of learning suits your lifestyle better, whether that is at weekends, evenings or during the daytime. Unlike many other Law degrees, this course is taught in small group sizes, giving you the individual attention and support needed for success.

Entry requirements

You should have a minimum of two GCE A2-level passes (or equivalent), including any subjects; and five GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent), including English. You may be required to attend an interview and/or provide a portfolio of work. If English is not your first language you will need to complete a Secure English Language Test at IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.
